10 year reunion

Wow! What a weekend. This weekend was my 10 year high school reunion. I didn't really know what to expect. I was more looking forward to hanging out with my friends, Bre and Dani, then actaully going to the reunion, but it was fun. It was held at the Raddison in Newport Beach, so Brian and I went to Bre's plaace in Naples and the husbands all hung out while us girls went to the reunion. It was a very different feel going and being completely sober. No alcohol for me since I am pregnant. It made for some funny observations... but all in all, it was a great time seeing old friends. Vacation

So last week was my Spring Break and Brian and I joined my cousin, Angie and her husband Jeff with their two little girls, Brielle and Hannah in Solvang. It was so relaxing to go and spend some quality time with family. It was fun to see what Brian and I should be expecting from future vacations with kids. All of us went on a little hike to a pretty waterfall, went to Cambria to see Heasrt Castle, and walked around the little Dutch town. Here are some pictures from our adventures. We are going to be 3!

So... I am headed toward entering my 2nd trimester. I am so excited and nervous. We have now heard the heartbeat of our little pumpkin twice. It is so amazing to hear. I actually have a person growing inside of me. We are due October 15. It seems so far away, but I know that these next 6 months will fly by. So here we are... starting our journey toward parenthood. I will try to keep people posted on my experiences so I have something for the pumpkin to read some day.
